"LSU Tiger" is my FA-18C Lot 20 flyable Hornet paint scheme based on the football uniform of
the Lousiana State University (aka LSU for those who don't know) Tigers. My goal was to make
the paint scheme represent as many images and color patterns of the LSU football team as
possible. The tiger eye appearing on each side of the nose is taken from the logo on the
50 yard line of Tiger Stadium (aka "Death Valley, the place where opponents dreams come
to die"). The tiger face on the vertical tail wings is taken from the official team logo.
The rounded "LSU" across the forward cockpit area matches the LSU from the football helmet.
The pilots helmet is based on the teams football helmet colors and stripe including the same
version of the tiger head. Finally, the "GEAUX TIGERS" (pronounced "Go Tigers") on the
fuselage is the teams official battle cry. FYI, the official team name is, "The Fighting
Tigers of Lousiana State University" though they're usually referred to as "The Tigers" or
sometimes "The Bayou Bengals".

Contained in the zip directory are 2 versions of the LSU Tiger paint scheme,
one clean for airshows and the other dirty for combat ops. The default is the clean
airshow version and ready to go with the description.lua file. If you want to fly the
dirty combat version, first backup the description.lua file to description.lua.back (or
whatever you want to call it) and rename the description_d.lua to description.lua and
restart DCS. To go back to the default clean airshow paint job, simply move description.lua
back to description_d.lua and move your backed up version of description.lua.back to
description.lua.

Simply unzip the "LSU Tiger" directory into the usual place for user liveries on your
filesystem (mine goes in c:/users/den/Saved Games/DCS/Liveries/FA-18C_hornet). Next time
you start DCS you should see "LSU Tiger" as one of your paint scheme options in the mission
editor for the flyable F/A-18C Lot 20.

Hope you enjoy flying the LSU Tiger as much as I did painting it!
